Tomato prices have dropped by 25% today, ranging from 2.5 to 5 pounds per kilo, due to increased harvesting rates in Minya and South Upper Egypt. This price drop is seen across vegetables and fruits, including white eggplant, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, peas, beans, bell peppers, and various types of onions, apples, oranges, grapes, and melons. The prices of some items like avocados and imported peaches are higher, reflecting their import status.
