A joint operation by agricultural, public security, and market supervision departments in a province has resulted in the issuance of 'Cracking Down on Private Slaughtering and Safeguarding Meat Products'. The operation aimed at regulating meat product sales channels, enhancing supervision of livestock slaughtering, and combating illegal activities. A total of 6 farmer's markets, 38 fresh pork sales stalls, 2 chilled fresh meat sales outlets, and 5 frozen warehouses were inspected, leading to the negative results for 5 batches of African swine fever environmental sampling and testing. The operation ensured that all inspected locations complied with the necessary certificates and seals, ensuring the safety of consumers.
