Total world coffee production was estimated at 174.9 million 60kg bags for twelve months

The global coffee production forecast for the 2024-2025 coffee year, which includes the harvest estimated for the period from July to June, is expected to reach a total physical volume equivalent to 174.9 million 60kg bags. This estimate includes the production of 97.8 million bags of the Coffea arabica species (Arabica coffee), which corresponds to approximately 56%, and, additionally, 77.0 million bags of Coffea canephora (robusta + conilon), which represent 44% of the total global harvest. In this context, it is worth highlighting a comparison of the sum of the estimated harvest volumes for the three largest coffee-producing countries in the world – Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia – including the two species mentioned, whose total sum is equivalent to 94.81 million 60kg bags and represents around 54.20% of global production.
