In Ukraine, new rules have come into effect that simplify access to operating certain types of machinery during martial law. This was announced by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Truck and bus drivers with at least 3 years of experience can operate tractors and self-propelled machines without a separate certificate, but only off public roads. Citizens who hold a national driver's license of categories C1, C, D1, or D and have at least three years of driving experience since the issuance of the license can now work on tractors and self-propelled machines of categories A1, A2, B1, B2, and B3 without a separate tractor driver's certificate. The use of such machinery is allowed only off the urban road network—that is, without leaving for public roads. According to the decision, these rules will be in effect throughout the entire period of martial law and for another 90 days after its termination or cancellation.
