The National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa) of Argentina conducted a training session at Ezeiza Airport for inspectors and operational coordination agents involved in the Pre-shipment Program for fruit export to the United States, focusing on cherry exports from fruit fly-free areas. The training covered entomological inspections to identify pests and damage in cherry shipments, with participation from Senasa professionals, USDA's APHIS, and the private sector. This training is part of a collaborative agreement with APHIS and COPEXEU, aiming to facilitate trade and certify exports for four decades.
