Trigo presents distinct scenarios

The Brazilian wheat market presented distinct scenarios among the southern states this Tuesday (15), according to information from TF Agroeconômica. While Rio Grande do Sul advances in exports and internal deliveries, Santa Catarina begins a timid harvest and Paraná faces quality losses in part of the crops. In Rio Grande do Sul, the harvest continues at a slow pace, with only 0.5% of the areas harvested, representing about 16 thousand tons available in the market, concentrated in the North region. Exports, driven by currency volatility, total 190 thousand tons, following new contract closures. Internally, mills resumed requests for delivery of future contracts and spot purchases between R$ 1,050 and R$ 1,070 per ton in the regions of Missões and Tenente Portela.
