According to market operators, Tunisia's state grain agency (ODC) contracted approximately 100,000 tons of soft wheat of optional origin following an international tender on September 10.
As clarified, the grain was purchased from the operator Bunge in four lots of 25,000 tons each at a price of $254.58 per ton including cost and freight (C&F).
Under the terms of the tender, the purchased wheat must be delivered to the importer between November 5 and December 15, depending on the country of origin.
It should be noted that following the previous tender held on September 3, ODC purchased approximately 125,000 tons of soft wheat also from Bunge.
