Turkey continues zero tariff policy on most grains and some legumes

On December 31, 2021, Turkey announced a revised tariff list for a number of goods. According to the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette, import duties on wheat, corn, rye, barley, oats, chickpeas and lentils were canceled until December 31, 2022. Imports of sunflower seeds for processing into the country, as well as safflower and crude sunflower oil, will be subject to a zero duty until June 30, 2022.
