Turkey ham: Check the considerable drop in price that it shows these days in Chile

The food basket continues to be a concern, because although prices have begun to show some setbacks, year-on-year inflation continues to be far from the target. In detail, in March the Consumer Price Index (CPI) had a monthly variation of 1.1%, accumulating an increase of 1.8%. At the same time, year-on-year inflation eased again: it recorded 11.1% in twelve months (in February it registered 11.9%). And in this context is that the prices of some foods began to give more "breath" to the pocket and in recent days, in particular, one drew attention: that of turkey ham. These days it has been evident the drop in the price of said sausage in several shops. For example: in supermarkets like Lider, the 250 grams of bulk cooked turkey breast dropped from $4,990 to $1,878. And the caramelized version cost $3,190; and now $1,690.
