Cereal production in Turkey increased by 9.1% in 2023 to about 42.2 million tons, with wheat seeing a stronger increase of 11.4% to 22 million tons. Barley production increased by 8.2% to 9.2 million tons, and oat production rose by 12.3% to 410,000 tons. The production of vegetables increased by 0.6% to 31.8 million tons, and fruits, juices, and spices increased by 2.3% to 27.4 million tons.
