This forecast was made by the executive director of the National Association of Turkey Producers (NAPI) Anatoly Velmatov at the AGRAVIA-2026 international exhibition. According to preliminary estimates, in 2025, Russian turkey farmers produced 450 thousand tons of products, which is 2.7% higher than in 2024. "The expected launch of the design capacity of a number of investment projects, including those for the production of hatching eggs, will allow production to increase to 480 thousand tons in 2026," Velmatov noted. According to him, the growth in indicators is facilitated by the maintenance of stable demand for turkey meat both in the domestic market and in the world.
