Turkey farming in Russia continues to develop dynamically, despite the challenges. By 2030, the sector is expected to produce 650 thousand tons of turkey meat, and by the end of 2025, a growth of 3.8% is expected, reaching 455 thousand tons. This was reported by the executive director of the National Association of Turkey Producers (NAPI), Anatoly Velmatov, during the "Agroinvestor" conference "Russian Agroholdings - 2025." However, he noted that earlier the growth was estimated at plus 6%, but the expected production growth will not occur due to difficulties with the import of hatching eggs due to the complex epizootic situation in the world.
