The Turkish dried fruit and products sector saw exports exceed 1 billion dollars in the first 9 months of this year, with Europe being the largest market and Germany, England, Italy, and France among the top exporting countries. The sector exported a total of 345 thousand 377 tons to 153 countries, with the majority of revenue coming from seedless raisins, dried apricots, and pistachios. The Southeastern Anatolian Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association ranked second in dried fruit exports, with a focus on apricots and pistachios grown in the region. The association is working to prevent a decline in pistachio exports and reach target export figures.
