Starting May 1, Turkey will impose a 130% import duty on wheat, corn, and barley due to a decision signed by President Tayyip Erdogan. The official government gazette Resmi Gazeta published the announcement. However, imports from Singapore will incur a lower fee of 16.2%, while imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina will remain duty-free. These conditions will be in effect until May 1, after which the current duty-free import of these products may change.
