Turkey’s Grain Production Expected to Drop 12% in 2025

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, total grain production in the country in 2025 is projected at 34.2 million tonnes, which is 12.4% lower than last year and below the institute’s previous estimate of 37.4 million tonnes, Reuters reports. Specifically, wheat production is estimated at 17.9 million tonnes, representing a 13.9% decrease compared to 2024 and below the initial estimate of 19.6 million tonnes.
