Turkey's Statistical Institute has reported mixed results for the country's poultry and dairy sectors in December 2023. While chicken egg production saw a 6.3% increase from the previous year, chicken and turkey meat production experienced slight decreases of 0.4% and 1.5% respectively. The dairy sector fared better, with a 9.9% increase in cow milk collection and rises in the production of cheese, ayran, yoghurt, and drinking milk. However, butter production saw a 9% decrease over the year.
