Turmeric and golden gooseberry from Peru will arrive in the United States this year

(Agraria.pe) According to the Update Report on Macroeconomic Projections 2023-2026 (IAPM), more than a dozen agro-export products with high potential have been identified by Peru whose shipments grew by more than 100% between 2007 and 2022. Among these products are onions. Only in 2021, Peru reached 11th place in the world ranking of onion shipments (1.1% participation in agricultural exports and grew 9.1% on average between 2018 and 2022), given the greater demand from the United States and European countries, which led to an increase in export prices.
