Two economically valuable mushroom varieties Yaprak77 and Noble77 were registered in Turkey

Within the scope of the work that has been going on for 6 years at Atatürk Horticultural Central Research Institute, oyster and eringi (ear) mushroom varieties that grow naturally in Turkey and have economic value have been registered as "Yaprak77" and "Noble77". Important studies are carried out at the Mushroom Research Center, which has the feature of mushroom gene bank with more than 700 varieties, within the body of the institute in Yalova, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The registration application made to the Seed Registration and Certification Center for two of the mushroom varieties whose studies have been completed has been concluded. Accordingly, two varieties named "Yaprak77" and "Noble77" were introduced to the producers.
