Two farms in the Mogoytuysky district of the Zabaikalsky karya have been designated as breeding reproducers for the Kazakh white-headed cattle breed, as announced by Alexander Tyukavkin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Transbaikalia. The Kirov estate agricultural production cooperative and the Shoidokov LLC have been added to the state register for livestock breeding, granting them access to state support funds for their breeding activities. Additionally, the Rassvet agricultural cooperative has been recognized as a breeding herd for the Kalmyk cattle breed. There are 14 cattle breeding organizations, 12 sheep breeding farms, 9 breeding farms and reproducers, horse breeding entities, and one camel gene pool farm in Transbaikalia, all actively involved in livestock breeding activities.
