The Union of Chambers of Agriculture of Turkey (TZOB) reported significant price disparities between producers and the market in November. The difference between the two reached up to 790.44 percent for lemons. The highest price increase in the market was in eggplant, while the most significant decrease was in lemons. On the other hand, the highest price increase among producers was in eggplant, and the most significant decrease was in lemons due to marketing difficulties and export restrictions. TZOB Chairman Şemsi Bayraktar highlighted the challenges faced by farmers, including increased input costs and difficulties in finding agricultural workers for citrus fruit harvesting.
