The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), in conjunction with the District Municipality of Neshuya, delivered organic fertilizer to cocoa producers as part of a project that will benefit 400 families and 1289.50 hectares in this district of the Ucayali region. The activity took place in front of the District Municipality of Neshuya, where the symbolic delivery of 20 tons of organic fertilizer, including island guano and rock phosphate, natural inputs that will improve soil fertility and crop quality, was carried out. During this first stage, 40 producers from 29 hamlets received the inputs, including families from the populated center Nolberth, San Juan, and Nuevo Satipo, who promote organic and sustainable cocoa production, free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
