In October 2024, Ukraine saw a 13% increase in revenue from delivered animals compared to the previous month, totaling $5.07 million, and an 81% increase compared to October 2023. Despite a 20% decrease in cattle exports from January to October 2024, generating $24.32 million, chilled red meat exports surged by 78% in October, reaching 888 tons and $5.57 million in value. Frozen beef exports rose by 25% in revenue from September 2024 but fell 13% from October 2023. Overall, Ukraine exported 14.75 thousand tons of frozen beef in the first ten months of 2024, marking an 18% decrease in both volume and value. While imports of chilled and frozen beef declined, frozen red meat imports increased by 3% compared to October 2023, resulting in a positive foreign trade balance of $11.97 million in cattle and beef.
