Ukraine has achieved the status of a world leader in raspberry exports

Ukraine has become the world leader in net exports of frozen raspberries for the first time in history, overtaking Poland and the long-time leader in this segment, Serbia. This is reported by EastFruit. In 2024, Ukrainian exports of frozen raspberries reached a record 65 thousand tons, which is 34% more than a year earlier. Over the past three seasons, Ukraine has more than doubled its shipments of frozen raspberries abroad. In contrast, Serbia maintained its previous export volumes, while Poland reduced them by 24%. An important factor in Ukraine's leadership is that it practically does not import raspberries, while Poland and Serbia purchase significant volumes for further re-export. In Poland, imported raspberries already account for more than 52% of the total export volume, and a significant part of this product comes from Ukraine.
