Ukraine has expanded its list of voivodships (regions) from which pork can be supplied, effectively banning pork imports from 12 regions including Subcarpathian, Podlasie, Lublin, Warmian-Masurian, Lubuskie, Wielkopolska, Lower Silesia, West Pomeranian, Lesser Poland, Lodz, and Svektoshinskoe. This decision was made by the Ukrainian authorities due to concerns about pork slaughter volumes exceeding pork cultivation in these regions.
