Ukraine imported 41.2% less lard in 4 months

During the first four months of 2024, Ukraine's imports of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat decreased by 41.2% compared to the same period in 2023, totaling 5,000 tons. The monetary value of these imports fell by 29% to $9.3 million. The main suppliers of these products were Poland, Spain, and Germany, accounting for 44.8%, 23.1%, and 14.9% of the imports, respectively. Additionally, Ukraine imported significantly less pork during the same period, by a factor of 3.8.
