Ukraine increased meat exports: the main buyers were named

In July 2024, Ukraine increased the volume of cattle and beef exports due to increased demand on foreign markets during the barbecue season. This was reported in the Association of Milk Producers (AVM). In July, Ukraine exported 1.74 thousand tons of live weight cattle, which is 25% more compared to June. Revenue from delivered animals amounted to $3.18 million and increased by 17% compared to June of the current year. All deliveries were directed to Lebanon. In January-July 2024, Ukraine exported 6.81 thousand tons of cattle (-83%) in the amount of $121.86 million (-60%). Natural volumes of frozen beef exports in July amounted to 1.71 thousand tons, which is 48% more compared to June of the current year. Cash revenue for delivered meat amounted to $6.92 million, which is 50% more compared to June 2024. About 34% of meat was shipped to Uzbekistan, 31% to Georgia, 26% to Kazakhstan.
