The shadow market of dairy products in Ukraine is around 20%, and the negative consequences include damage to the country's international business and political image, health risks to consumers, and revenue loss at all levels. Raw milk prices have led to product price increases, and Bulgaria has imported milk from Ukraine due to a raw material shortage. The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Rights Protection has reviewed its activities and has allowed 528 exporters to export soybeans, corn, and barley to China.
