Ukraine is rapidly becoming a significant exporter of frozen raspberries in the 2024/25 season, challenging Serbia and Poland, despite ongoing conflicts and energy infrastructure issues. In the initial three months of the season, Ukraine saw a 36% increase in exports compared to the previous year and a 45% increase compared to 2022, exporting over 28,000 tons. This growth is despite reports of a decrease in raspberry harvests. Ukraine's main export markets include Poland, Germany, France, and other European countries, with the USA and Canada recently starting to import Ukrainian raspberries. Ukrainian farmers are also reporting less trouble with low prices, aligning with the usual price cycles for raspberries on the global market.
