As of March 2, grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine were threshed on 11.3 million hectares, which is 98% of the planned. From this area, 54.28 million tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 48 centners per hectare, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported. As noted, corn harvesting is currently underway: as of March 2, grain has been threshed on 4.02 million hectares (95%), of which 26.9 million tons have been threshed with a yield of 66.9 centners per hectare. A week earlier, the gross grain harvest was estimated at 26.79 million tons. "Fully completed the harvesting of all agricultural crops on the specified date, the farmers of Mykolaiv, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa, Kirovograd, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil and Kiev regions.
