The Ukrainian livestock industry was discussed at the EuroTier 2022 international conference, with First Deputy Minister Taras Vysotsky highlighting the industry's resilience despite challenges, especially the Russian invasion. The industry is recovering and strengthening international cooperation, particularly with Germany. Despite a decline, the industry is expected to recover and lead to business growth, job creation, and quality production. Ukraine is striving to be a full-fledged European society member and is interested in sustainable and ecologically safe animal husbandry. The industry needs support in areas such as providing powerful generators, developing the biomethane industry, and implementing the red meat traceability system.
