Ukraine and Saudi Arabia are working on a bilateral veterinary certificate approval to allow Ukrainian meat producers to export beef and lamb to Saudi Arabia. An online meeting between the State Consumer Service of Ukraine and the Saudi Food and Drug Administration discussed removing technical barriers to expanding food product exports from Ukraine. Saudi Arabia consumed up to 60 tons of Ukrainian vegetables last year, marking a milestone in agricultural exports between the two countries. Additionally, MHP agricultural holding is planning to establish a joint venture with Desert Hills for Veterinary Services Company, a subsidiary of Tanmiah Food Company, to boost meat exports to Saudi Arabia.
