From July 2019 to February 2020, Ukraine experienced a significant decline in sugar exports, with only 103.7 thousand tons sent out compared to the previous year's 413.5 thousand tons. Despite this drop, the country managed to generate revenue of almost $ 30.5 million from these exports over the first eight months of 2020. The primary markets for Ukrainian sugar during this period included Turkey, Libya, and Palestine, which accounted for 23.13%, 10.70%, and 10.68% of the exports, respectively.
