The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) has launched a new thematic sub-page for the public focusing on the disease known as "golden yellow disease" (FD) in grapevines. The creation of this platform, primarily aimed at hobby gardeners and the interested general public, is justified by the current high level of FD infection in the country. The office aims to reach as wide a range of the population as possible with information about the disease, which poses a serious threat to domestic grape production. To curb the spread of the infection, in addition to the measures taken by the authorities and the activities of vineyard owners, the active participation of a few capital-owning hobby gardeners is essential - as stated on the Nébih
website.
