Private U.S. exporters reported to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) the sale of 330,000 tons of soybeans to China, with delivery scheduled for the 2025/26 season.
According to the consultancy Safras & Mercado, USDA rules state that any operation involving the sale of volumes equal to or greater than 100,000 tons of the grain, destined for the same country and carried out on the same day, needs to be officially reported.
