USDA indicates slower progress in cotton

The weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin, released on Tuesday (12) by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), pointed out that 93% of the cotton crop had reached the squaring stage as of August 10. This percentage represents two points less compared to the same period last year and one point below the average of the last five years.
