Uzbekistan exported vegetables and fruits worth $847.3 million in the first six months of 2025, which is 40.4% more than during the same period in 2024, the Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reported. According to its data, the republic exported over 1 million tons of produce in January-June, compared to 999.7 thousand tons a year earlier, when Uzbekistan earned $603.2 million. Of the fruits, the most exported were apricots (54.1 thousand tons), dried grapes (47.1 thousand tons), and cherries (34 thousand tons). During the same period last year, the republic sold 45.9 thousand tons of apricots, 15.9 thousand tons of dried grapes, and 33.8 thousand tons of cherries.
