Uzbekistan organizes weekly air deliveries of fruits and vegetables to Latvia

The other day, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Trading House in Riga (Latvia), the flights of Uzbekistan Airways JSC organized the first delivery of agricultural products produced in the Fergana region to Latvia, Dunyo news agency reported. The first export cargo weighing over 1 ton consists of greens (dill, cilantro), vegetables (cucumbers), citrus fruits (lemon) and dried fruits (raisins, persimmons, apricots, walnuts, almonds).

The exporter is the Manzana company from the Kuvasay district of the Ferghana region, the importers are the Latvian chain of stores Lauku Bauda, as well as the KGS Group company, which specializes in importing fresh and dried premium fruits and vegetables. "Lauku Bauda", having a wide network of outlets in the Latvian capital, specializes in servicing customers with higher purchasing power.
