Uzbekistan is increasing the export of its agricultural products, particularly cotton, fruits, and vegetables, to China, due to the cooperative efforts between the agriculture departments of both countries. The Uzbek government's investment in the scientific and technological development of agriculture has led to an increase in the quality and added value of these products. Despite facing logistical challenges, Uzbekistan is enhancing its transport infrastructure and exploring ways to integrate with the One Belt, One Road initiative. So far, Uzbekistan has received permission to export 16 types of agricultural products to China, and in the first half of 2021, it exported over 37,900 tons to China, valued at over $31 million.
