The Official Gazette of the Valencian Community (DOCV) published on October 20 the Resolution by which aid is called for the distillation of winemaking by-products for the 2025-2026 campaign. The purpose is to call for aid for the distillation of winemaking by-products, within the territorial scope of the Valencian Community, managed by the Directorate General for the Common Agricultural Policy. According to the text, the aid request may be submitted by distillers duly authorized by the Directorate General for the Common Agricultural Policy, who comply with what is established in Article 49 of RD 905/2022, of October 25, regarding their authorization and based on the alcohol obtained that meets the following requirements: Having a minimum alcohol degree of 92%; being used exclusively for industrial or energy purposes, in order to avoid distortions to free competition.
