Uzbekistan has extended the period for exemption from paying value-added tax on meat imports. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice. The exemption from VAT on the sale and import of beef and mutton, as well as their slaughter products, has been extended until the end of 2022. Similar measures are envisaged for potatoes. Also, until the end of the year, the period for exemption from VAT on the import of vegetable oil, sunflower and flax seeds, and soybeans has been extended.
