A recent study by the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) reveals that the Southeast region of Brazil is a major contributor to the country's fruit and vegetable production, accounting for 40.87% of the national output. The study highlights Bauru and Campinas mesoregions in São Paulo State as the top producers, with a strong focus on orange cultivation. Following the Southeast, the Northeast, South, North, and Midwest regions also contribute significantly to the country's production. Despite being the world's third-largest fruit producer, Brazil exports less than 3% of its production. However, mangoes, melons, grapes, and orange juice have found success in international markets, with the Netherlands emerging as a key buyer.
