By Amélia Alves São Paulo, 09/12/2025 - Vibra Energia has signed a contract to sell its entire stake in ECE (Evolua), a company created in partnership with Copersucar to engage in the commercialization of ethanol. Vibra held 49.99% of Evolua's share capital, while Copersucar controlled the remaining 50.01%. Under the agreement, Copersucar will purchase all of Evolua's shares currently held by Vibra, fully assuming the business. According to the company, the decision to end the partnership follows the new market dynamics and aligns with its strategy to increase flexibility in ethanol supply, also reinforcing discipline in capital allocation. The completion of the transaction is estimated for the end of the first quarter of 2026 and depends on the fulfillment of usual conditions for this type of transaction, including approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), it informed.
