According to the Vietnam Coffee Corporation, before Storm No. 13 occurred, the company had mobilized forces to reinforce workplaces, processing warehouses, and machinery systems to minimize damage caused by the storm. The organization inspected and reviewed the entire production area, warehouses, and residential areas; reinforced roofs, walls, electrical systems, and water supply and drainage systems to ensure safety during the storm. However, Storm No. 13 caused 27 warehouses and workplaces of the company's units to suffer severe damage, including roof collapses. The subsequent flooding from November 17 to 21 continued to cause extensive damage to the crops of the units under the Vietnam Coffee Corporation; over 11 hectares of rice, 9.8 hectares of rubber, and nearly 411 hectares of coffee were submerged and collapsed; over 424 hectares of pepper and short-day trees were killed.
