According to data from the Taiwan Financial Agency, in the first nine months of the year, Vietnam exported 144,341 tons of fruits and vegetables to this market, a slight increase of 2.3% compared to the same period last year. The value of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables exported to this market reached approximately 159 million USD. Meanwhile, Mainland China exported over 131,000 tons to Taiwan (China), valued at 150.5 million USD, an increase of 9.4% in volume and over 1% in value. Their export volume was still about 13,000 tons less than Vietnam's in the first nine months. Therefore, Vietnam's market share reached 14.6%, surpassing China's (13.3%). The United States is currently the largest supplier of fruits and vegetables to Taiwan, accounting for 25.6% of the total value, followed by New Zealand (13.5%) and Japan (11.2%).
