According to data from the Bureau of Import and Export from the International Trade Center (ITC), in the first 9 months of 2025, Thailand imported 13.2 thousand tons of tea, valued at 29.02 million USD, a decrease of 12% in quantity but an increase of 48.9% in value compared to the same period in 2024. In the first 9 months of 2025, in terms of quantity, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Myanmar are the major tea suppliers to Thailand.
