In 2024, the average price of Vietnamese coffee imported into China is expected to increase by 63% compared to 2023 to 4,176 USD/ton. Despite this increase, the price of coffee from other sources such as Colombia and Ethiopia has decreased. The overall price of coffee imported into China is also expected to decrease slightly. Vietnam will be the third largest supplier of coffee to China, with a volume of 24,000 tons valued at 101 million USD, marking a 66% increase in volume and 170% increase in value compared to 2023. Vietnam's coffee market share in China's total imports will also increase to 12.62% in 2024 from 9.44% in 2023.
