At the 'Vietnam - China Fruit Import and Export Supply Chain Connection and Trade Forum' in Beijing, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, emphasized the robust trade relationship between Vietnam and China in the fruit and vegetable sector. Despite significant growth, there is still untapped potential. Vietnam is working on improving production standards and quality, while advocating for simplified procedures and expanded agreements to include more fruit varieties. Additionally, strategies to expedite customs clearance, enhance infrastructure use, and foster collaboration between Chinese associations and key import enterprises were discussed to boost investment, joint ventures, partnerships, and two-way trade exchanges.
