According to statistics from the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), in November 2025, Vietnam's seafood export value approached USD 9.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. Several major products achieved good growth compared to the same period last year. Shrimp exports exceeded USD 3.85 billion, up 11.7%, with both whiteleg shrimp and lobster recording double-digit growth. Basa fish exports approached USD 1.97 billion, up 9.7%; other fish, squid, and mollusks also continued to show an improving trend. In terms of markets, Vietnam's exports to Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) member countries, China (including Hong Kong), the European Union, and Brazil increased significantly; however, exports to the United States decreased by nearly 5%.
