Argentine Secretary of Bioeconomy, Fernando Vilella, is embarking on a three-nation tour to France, China, and Belgium. The primary objectives of the trip include supporting the election of Argentine Luis Barcos as president of the World Organization for Animal Health (WHOA), opening beef and pork offal markets in China, and promoting deforestation-free Argentine beef to the European Union. Additionally, during his visit to China, Vilella plans to discuss the poultry market issue following recent avian influenza cases. In Brussels, a tasting of deforestation-free Argentine beef is scheduled for agricultural delegations of the European Union.
