Violation of sales standards: Another 235 kg of Jeju citrus fruits caught in wholesale market as 'unlisted items'

The main violations detected were the shipment of 'extra small' persimmons with a diameter of less than 45 mm and 'extra large' persimmons with a diameter of 77 mm or more, which violated the product specifications stipulated in the 'Jeju Province Persimmon Production and Distribution Ordinance.' Jeju Province and others had previously detected a total of 5,230 kg of non-standard persimmons in two previous joint inspections of the wholesale markets. The inspection of the volume in major wholesale markets showed that the overall quality of persimmons was at a good level.
